Outdoor range for my 7 year old...

I live in Springfield and would like to take my 7 year old shooting again. The last time she shot was when she was 6 at my Father in law's property up in Rhode Island. I am a member at Sharpshooters but would rather take her to an outdoor range. Can anyone recommend one that is kid friendly?

Thank you.

I would take her to Clark Bros. The ROs seem diligent on the safety precautions. Once my 7 year old boy starts shooting, I'll most likely take him there.

I'd second Clark Brothers.
You have to buy your ammo/targets there at above market prices but that's the price of a free range. I try not to begrudge the RSO a paycheck.
Pistol shooting might be a bit of a problem. The pistol stalls are about 36-38" high (I'm guessing). She'd have to be able to see over them. The rifle side is all tables so that shouldn't be a problem.

Have fun.

Thank you both. It seems to only be about 40 miles from my house so that's not bad.
I don't mind buying their ammo since we're only shooting .22. My daughter shooting in a safe environment is the only thing I truly care about. She had a great experience her first time out and would like to keep it that way.

Thanks again :bigthumb:
