Health Care for America - NOW

Here's the website for Health Care America Now, a DC based left wing organization. Take a look and see what they have to say about the opposition. If you're not against the reform act you should be against this. They are giving instructions on how to combat "militant right wing extremist" and shut them down during meetings and also how to keep them away and sequestered from the press. Its worth a couple minutes of your time just to read this one page.

I might get on a rant here so bear with me. If Osamas' health care is so damn great then why isn't it that don't people in congress and the messiah himself don't want it ? Obama said himself on national tv that he would not want it for his family. I don't think my health care plan is the greatest in the world but I'll be damned if I want the feds butting in on it. Screw Obama and his health care

OH NO!!! I shouldn't have said anything . Now DK is gonna report me. :hysterical:

Thanks for the link, DK.

Their advice is right out of the generic grassroots organizer playbook, and a good read for anyone unfamiliar with the subject. The only thing they got wrong is their assessment of the opposition to obamacare, and that works in our favor. With big labor sending their goons into the fray, our side can capitalize big time on any ugliness that develops. We just have keep our cool so we can't be portrayed as the instigators.

George

Well would you expect any less? Their "steering committee" is a who's who of liberal organizations:

ACORN, AFL-CIO, AFSCME, AFT, Americans United for Change, Campaign for America’s Future, Center for American Progress Action Fund, Campaign for Community Change, Children’s Defense Fund Action Council, Communications Workers of America, International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace & Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW), MoveOn.org, NAACP, National Council of La Raza, National Education Association, National Women’s Law Center, SEIU, UFCW, USAction, Women's Voices, Women's Vote and Working America.

And they straight up admit to political action committes being members.

Time to load more magazines and watch Red Dawn again.

Funny though the same union thugs who were using billy-clubs on hippies in the sixties are now sent out for the elderly in town hall meetings..... I guess they have to do what their masters tell them to do, in either case its inevitable that Obama will be just like Abe Lincoln and John Kennedy.

Dude,

If you mean O'bama will be revered as a great president, I'm afraid I must respectfully disagree.

That's not the only thing they had in common. I think he forgot to include Garfield and McKinley, but that's just a guess.

The Obamacare folks are ready for a "Reality Check". The Whitehouse.gov snitch email now has a face.

I saw that today. I'm so ticked about this whole mess I can hardly see straight. I cant believe the democrats are saying "angry mobs are upsetting the democratic process." Havent any of them read the Constitution or even know who Thomas Jefferson is? His statue stands upon the very capitol they spew this stuff from. I know the 1st says "peaceably to assemble" but I've seen no evidence of violence from the protesters in any of the vids I've watched and I've watched a bunch. The SEIU are the guilty party there.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Since my dial up is so slow, someone watch this vid and see this description is true.

Jane asks the President if her 100 year old mother (now 105) would have gotten a pacemaker under his plan. Well now that's a tough one ... that costs a lot and maybe we will have to say, just take a pill. Priceless.

So basically, mom would be buried by now under his plan. Sure sounds like something I want to be involved in.

I talked to my mother today about this. I've read through the bill twice and am convinced the hype about euthanasia is just that - hype, BUT IMO it does start us in that direction. I think this first step will be denying care when you reach a certain point. It scares the living daylights out of me that the government will control whats covered. its hard enough to fight the insurance company and I've heard nothing at all good about VA care. I'm convinced this health care reform will be much worse.

I think you are correct about the euthanasia, it's hype at this point. My concern is that they will be rationing or otherwise limiting distribution (call it whatever you want) of healthcare to the detriment of certain groups. Why give a 99 year old a pacemaker when it's cheaper to give her pills and hope they work. Save the pacemaker for someone younger, it's more cost effective.

Yes this is just the start though. First step is limiting care. Next step is to start promoting euthanasia. The next step gets more sinister and we could find ourselves stuck in a movie like Logan's Run.

Do you honestly think that bleeding heart liberals will allow euthanasia? No way. They dont like animals being killed or the death penalty. There is no way they'll go for it.

Its not so much the liberals themselves. its the people behind the scenes. Do a little research on the WH advisor. Dr Ezekiel Emanuel. Rahm Emanuel's brother. Also Kathleen Sebelius, Secy HHS. Also, liberals go for abortion. Why not euthanasia? No difference. Just age.
