I just couldn't watch the democratic convention.............

........... Just couldn't make myself do it. But this morning I saw several excerpts on Fox & Friends. Did the Fox folks just cherrypick to make the dems look bad, or are they just nasty, vicious mean to and about anybody or anything that doesn't toe the liberal democratic line? No room for difference of opinion, no reasoned criticism; no factual rebuttal, just juvenile and asinine name-calling like you'd see on a 3rd grade playground. No damn wonder Congress is gridlocked; and hooray for gridlock if it keeps idiots like that from calling the shots. Makes you want to b!tchslap them before you walk away. I wouldn't want @ssholes like that picking up my garbage; much less administering my government. I'm not talking about ideological differences, here; I'm talking about total intellectual oppression and intolerance of any opposing viewpoint. It's so outrageous it's surreal. It leaves me wondering if I'm now such a hidebound reactionary that I can't cope with liberals or whether the liberals are as wild-eyed crazy as they seem to me. Has "moderate" moved off to the left and deserted me, or are these folks ranting at the democratic convention the crazy, destructive, overbearing liberal nutcases they seem to me to be? Either way, it looks like intolerance breeds intolerance. I don't want to live in the same country or breathe the same air as them. P!ss on 'em and a mile around 'em! I’m about ready to opt out. I wonder if that little bungalow on Ruby Ridge is for rent? (I’m just kiddin’, Mr. Forum Cop)

Yes, they are every bit as evil and nasty as you saw. And keep in mind, they were on their best behavior on TV. You should hear what they say privately in front of friendly audiences.

A more miserable, angry and snarky group you will never find outside of the DNC halls. I'd sooner remove my own tonsils with a shrimp fork than watch even one minute of the slobbering Obama love-fest known as the DNC.

NNNOOOOOOO. That would NEVER happen. We're talking about the home of fair and balanced. The "no spin" zone.

That's fine if you don't want to watch the DNC, but you should at least commit to getting the highlights from MSNBC this week. If that doesn't work, there's still your Ruby Ridge plan. :packin:

Yeah they really are that way. They are using Saul Alinsky http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saul_Alinsky tactics to demonize their competition to take the focus off of their incompetence. These Dems are not your daddy's dems they have been infiltrated and taken over by the progressive party. It's sad and unfortunate but also true. If the conservatives don't look out for the Republican party it will happen to them too. They almost turned to the dark side until the 2010 elections when the trees were shaken. 2012 will shake out more of the progressive scumbags that have infiltrated the party.

? 1 - Answer B. They are vicious evil sh!tstains.

? 2 - Answer C - Both. You are a hide bound reactionary (because you have been paying attention and have a soul) and they are indeed bat poop insane by any impartial observation

?3 - Answer B - "destructive, overbearing liberal nutcases they seem to me to be"

?4 - Answer Undetermined. Suggest you find an unspoiled ground to make your stand. Ruby Ridge is "soiled."

Great rant - 9/10 because I require at least creative use of swearing to really "feels ya" bro.

I got home in time to watch them vote for adding "God", and recognizing the REAL capital of Israel.

And they had to take the vote THREE TIMES because the fervent "NO" votes would have made them EXACTLY what Fox News CALLED THEM OUT!

The "MC", declared it, and the whole convention hall erupted in "BOOS"!?!

I used to think that maybe Democrats, and Liberals were just a lil' different than me. Today? I have to question those friendships if people really believe that way.

It makes me wonder why I even bother with such putrid hatred in my circle.

Life is too short to have liberal friends. What do you suppose your friendship will mean if they can receive personal gain for sharing with their beloved state that you have GASP an arsenal and a stockpile of ammo?

Well, I didn't watch the DNC again last night. But I did catch the higlights of ole lyin' Bill Clintoon's speech this morning.

Struck me that the democrats really picked the right man for the job this time. Think about this with me for just a minute, here; even if it hurts, OK?

The last big selling job ole lyin' Billie did on the American people with a high-stakes primetime speech was the "I DID NOT HAVE SEX WITH THAT WOMAN" speech, right?

So who could be better qualified to make the "OBAMA DID NOT SCREW THE POOCH" speech, huh?

I tell you, it's just sheer fookin' GENIUS! :hysterical:

I have no doubts i'm on a plethora of lists because of these "Fifth Column" Americans trying to bring down the country....

It's just a shame that a party that CLAIMS to be so tolerant, doesn't.

What is even worse than their name calling is blaming Bush for the recession that they started and created. I am no big Bush fan (he spent like a liberal) but the economy was set up to fail in large part due to the Community Reinvestment Act which made banks make risky loans and then bundled them and the Commodities Modernization act of 2000 signed by Clinton. The latter is what has directly caused supply and demand to go out the window and has allowed commodities prices to be run up by speculators hurting everyone in the middle class. The Dems took over in January 2007 but seem to forget that they have had that long in charge.
The torch of racism in this country is kept solidly alive by the Democrats and minorities for the most part do not realize that the programs of the Democratic party such as welfare, section 8 housing, Medicaid etc. are designed to keep them enslaved to the state. Even gun control is solidly aimed at minority communities.
Progressives whine about voter rights due to having to show an ID and then do not bat an eye when trying to take my Constitutionally protected second amendment rights. Funny how now one talks about the hoops the poor and minorities have to jump through in some crime ridden areas just to have their second amendment rights partially upheld. They are all hypocrites.

I am very worried about where our country is heading. Condi hit the nail on the head when she said that no country can do more damage to us, than what we do to ourselves. The splinter groups that seem to thrive on the left, seem to hate everything american. I just don't see a peaceful way out of this mess we are in. I worry for my kids and grand children.

Thats the real them, and worse. They don't need anyone to cherry pick to make them look like what they are. They believe in free speech as long as its their speech. They believe in the Constitution as long as they can pick and choose the parts that might help them. They are not all bad people, they are just wired to think the polar opposite of Conservatives, including the Founding Fathers. They love their Country, at least the one they create in their minds. Their Country is not our Country, ( people who believe in the wisdom of the Constitution and believe in the entire document). Its the law of the land, just not their land. What we face is a choice of going the way of Europe and socialism, marxism, communism, whatever you want to call it, or the Country our Founding Fathers risked all to create and many Patriotic Americans gave all to preserve and defend so it could be passed on to the next generation. Remember this, " Great Storms Announce Their Arrival On The Gentle Breeze. Thats what gave the world hitler, stalin and the like. They won't come right out and tell you at the begining what their plans are, they lie, they fool people pretending to be something their not, slowly putting the pieces in place so you don't notice too much change, too many of your freedom being taken away. Its a slow but steady process. Then one day you realize because you have woke up from your busy life and looked around and payed attention. By then its too late. I think thats why I don't believe in this moderate thing. I don;t see a gray area when it comes to my Country. Sitting on the fence is a dangerous place. You could fall or be pushed to the wrong side. I believe that you must take a stand, "you have to stand for something, or you'll fall for anything" You have to be like the NRA says "ALL IN" one side or the other, :iwojima: because thats what it will eventually come to.

When you lie so much for a living it becomes a character flaw. A deep spiritual void. Eventually it effects your mind and in the end as we see, there remains no concept of right and wrong. Once unable to discern right and wrong one loses the ability to distinguish good and evil.

These people are decieved and believe they are the center of the universe. They plan to rule us according to their feelings.
