Hi all.
I'm Bob Steadman Owner/Head Instructor of Tactical Edge Institute out here in the communist state of CA. Can't wait to get to a gun friendly state. Look forward to interacting with you all and getting to know you. Hopefully I can bring something to the forum. Happy to be here!

I'm in Richmond, a ways south of Leesburg. Be prepared to run into some competition up there. Every street corner has an instructor's shingle hanging.....

Welcome Bob, Very impressive Arsenal coming from the Left Coast. I really like that 12 gauge pump Shotgun ! I have been looking at one for my collection. Snakester

Nice to semi-meet ya. Yeh my wife promotion was to Rockville and once she told me I looked up the gun laws. I told her I wasn't going to trade CA west for CA east. Then I looked at boarder states and liked VA. Look forward to getting there and meeting some pro gun people for once. Don't get me wrong there are a few here but were in the minority.

Good one. I just hope there are people that want the service. My business dried up in a hurry out here, but that was mainly due to people just going to a range renting & shooting and calling it a day. No experience needed. Hopefully Multi-state chl classes will be a hit. Thanks again for the warm welcome!

Nice to semi-meet ya. Got that on sale (always every other month) at Big5 for $140.00. Works just as good as the police Mossberg I used back in the day. The S&W M&P was a pain. My gun guy couldn't find it with his distributors, so I waited 4 months and found it myself on Budsguns for less. Within a month of getting it some state politicto had a fit over the bullet button and folding stock (there illegal here thus making the gun illegal) and wanted them outlawed and confiscated from owners. Lucky it was shot down, but not to worry no their looking to put restrictions on BB Guns (such as making it illegal if a child gets a hold of one-just like a regular firearm) they really have nothing else to do out here. I can't get to VA fast enough!

Good to know. We don't know the area so I was just throwing darts when I picked Leesburg. Like to be in a good city as close to the boarder with Maryland as possible that don't cost an arm and a leg, and apparently now-have a lot of Instructors. Hoping people will want their muti-state chl. I know it isn't as easy or as cheap as VA, but it covers a lot more states. Revamping my site www.tacticaledgeinstitute.com to reflect that. That is also why a lot of the CA stuff has been take down if you look at it. I will just be nice to carry again after 23 yrs. I relocated to TX for ten years from Souther, CA where I was a cop. Didn't want to raise a family in that crap. 10 years later the wife got promoted back here and they wouldn't give me a CCW (CHL). So when the wife got promoted to MD this time I did my home work and found VA and pro gun heaven. I'm semi-retired and have been instructing with my company for 12 years. Basically my fun (wife calls it mad because I'm always buying more guns) money. Again nice to meet you and thanks for the welcome!
