Looking for an AAC 7.62SDN-6. Can't find one in stock. Any recommendations for a shop?

Here are the options I'm looking at:
-Waiting list for several months at Sharpshooters- but get to shoot it at their range while waiting for stamp. Full MSRP
-Order online from silencershop.com. $180 below MSRP, but $125 for paperwork transfer. Found a small class III dealer that will do the papework for me: http://safehouseconcepts.com/ although I haven't found any information on the shop it self- I think he runs it from his house
-VA arms would have to order it- full MSRP
-Nova firearms- the same

$125 for the paperwork is too much IMHO. I typically pay $75 which about average. If you are Mil/LE many shops will do it for less than that. Check out this guy: http://www.silencedamerica.com/aacrifle.html

IIRC, he sells that suppressor for ~$860. Don't forget with AAC you have to buy the muzzle attachment separate from the can for QDs.

$125!? Good God is there anything sharpshooters doesn't try to a$$ rape you for?
They got some cocky ego. Only reason they are still in business is because they are the only store in the area.

I think you may have misread the OP, or perhaps the OP's information is incorrect. Either way SharpShooters does not charge any fees for NFA items (suppressors, SBRs, etc.)

Sharpshooters doesn't charge any fees if you buy from them. ONly issue is that their inbound shipment of these are already spoken for. So I'm on the list for the second shipment which could take "months" according to them.

The safehouseconcepts guy charges $125 for the paperwork if you don't buy from directly (i.e. mailordering one from silencershop.com).

If you don't mind going farther south, you can find transfer rates much lower than those. $50 is about standard around Richmond.

Unfortunately Sharpshooters does not have enough storage capacity to accept NFA transfers, therefore there are no transfer fees in that case.

For normal FFL transfers it is $40 dollars and $25 for Annual Members. If you have multiple firearms it is an additional $5 dollars per firearm. Sharpshooters does not accept transfers from distributors, wholesalers, or manufactuers (i.e. Buds Guns Shop).

We normally charge $50 for inbound NFA transfers. We do the paperwork, you get a packet in the mail with directions for completion (signatures, return of trust documents or fingerprint cards, etc). Our prices are competitive with just about everyone to include my good friend Scott at Silenced America.
