Doesnt get much more MSM than Newsweek.

Liberal media doesn't really exist outside of a few dedicated leftist media orgs like MSNBC or Mother Jones.

Just a thinly veiled attempt to fire up Newsweak's liberal base. It smells like desperation from here.

So if you're keeping score at home:

Positive Obama article = liberal lamestream media in the tank for Obama.

Negative Obama article = desperate attempt at firing up the liberal base.

I agree - and wondered if anyone else would catch it. Bad press is still press - and it has him on the top shelf of all of the magazine racks in stores.

Then again, maybe some folks will open their eyes.

Only negative MSM articles I've seen besides this one were in the National Enquirer!

Naw, really just a thinly veiled attempt to remain relevant, in the public discourse, and you know, in business. Same as all other media outfits. It doesn't have a liberal base, rather just people who like a weekly contemporary news-rag. Ditto for Time and US news.

Gotta generate buzz to attract readers to in turn attract advertisers.

I briefly worked for Newsday (the big Long Island paper, not in a journalism capacity) and can attest to the desperate need for any and all revenue in printed media.

They're dropping like flies out there.

MSM is dead.

Died in the last Obummer ralley of 2008.
