but need to find a place to really do some longer ranges outdoor

clarks brothers has a 100 yard outdoor range. Then you have the range down @ quantico.

Quantico seems like it be an awesome place to suffer the symptoms of black rifle disease but is just a bit far to join as a regular member, not sure i'd use it enough
maybe I will try Clarks Bros bright and early Saturday

If SEG is close, 340 Defense might be a nice drive. I'm planning on taking the trip with the new wife soon.
