Tax Return Hypocrisy: Pelosi, Reid Won't Release Their Filings
Democrats shouting the loudest about Mitt Romney’s reluctance to release his tax returns do not apply the same standards to themselves, according to a McClatchy News Service report.

Personally, I think we should DEMAND the names of the drug dealers that provided Obama with pot and cocaine!

Good article. The slant is a bit much for me, but it does raise some interesting points.
1. Neither of them are running for President where currently the level of vetting tends to be higher than for members of Congress.
2. Members of BOTH parties are urging Romney to disclose more and members of BOTH parties refused to show their returns.
3. I think this should be the law of the land (since Congress doesn't make laws that apply to themselves, good luck).
“Senior public officials, especially members of Congress and presidential candidates, should be required to disclose their tax returns so that the public can monitor potential conflicts of interest,” Craig Holman, government affairs lobbyist for Public Citizen, a nonpartisan watchdog group, told McClatchy.
Members of Congress aren’t being fully transparent if they don’t divulge their tax information, said Daniel Auble, head of the personal finance project for the Center for Responsive Politics, which tracks financial disclosures by members of Congress and appointees confirmed by Congress.

How slanted is it to ask for additional tax returns by a party who's administration is full of tax cheats who were hired anyway? No one mentions Bloomberg's ongoing disputes with the IRS for his companies do they?
What did they need Romney's returns for? more ammo to say he's rich? We know that! Offshore investments? Anyone with an IRA has those.
I'd be more interested to know how Obama secured that property from Rich and what promised he made to the felon or how his new found wealth was gained since entering office.....Maybe why he's attracted to weather underground terrorists... Course as a parent who watched Obama go on late night TV and state "well of course I inhaled, that was the point" it would be usefull for him to fully repent of his druggie days, say it was wrong, and devulge the names of his cocaine and pot dealers.
But that's just me....

I always thought that was the name of the game. Protect the money that you earn from the hungry governmental redistribution machine.
