What's a good way to improve my hand strength to learn to rack the slide easier? Also are there any ranges that rent Kahr PM9's? Kahrs are hard to come by.

But don't you already have a PM-9? Why rent one?

You could get one of those spring-loaded hand exercisers - or one of those stress balls that's like a balloon filled with sand or gel - then sit on the couch for your favorite show and work it.

Young has the same problem. We spent 30 minutes the other day at Gilberts until we found one she could operate.

I've noticed that different pistols take a little getting used to. The more you rack the slide the easier it will become for you to do it.

They are now called Sharpshooters. Off 7100 in Springfield. Not a bad place to find guns and shoot. Right now I'm running her through rentals until we find one she can handle. The best one so far is a Taurus Millenium 9mm. Not a bad little gun for a bad little woman!!!

I know of a few exercise but I decline to descibe them on here. :hysterical:

Are you having trouble gripping the slide or moving the slide? Rick's suggestion would help with gripping the slide. If your having trouble moving the slide it could be nothing more than the way you are holding the gun.

No though she did try a couple of Glocks. She liked the Taurus best.

Yep, checked his website earlier. Look at his polls on the web site.

Are we talking a new or used gun here? If new, shooting a couple hundred rounds through it always worked wonders for making the slide easier to cycle.
