I am looking for someone in the Richmond area who does duracoating. Likewise I am looking for someone in the Richmond area who can heat treat a stamped receiver. All the search engine info I found was vague, so I thought it would be best to find out from someone first hand. Any help would be appreciated.

I am a certified Dura Coat applicator, however I am not in Richmond. But as far as the heat treat goes- I don't know what to tell you. What grade of steel is it? What do you need to achieve with heat treating?

As far as heat-treating goes, there is always the D.I.Y. option.

I guess you can go through a certified Dura Coat applicator but I recommend the following if you are at all handy. I have used supplies from http://www.houtsenterprises.net/index.html with very good results. Just saying that depending on your needs and your pocket book this might be an option for you.
