Now, fisticuffs between Mae West and Fay Wray would be a talkie toast of the town! Why, those gals have more vim than a vaudeville troupe!

Did you know that Clara Bow and Norma Talmadge didnt make in the talkies due to their strong Brooklyn accents?
My wife swears Captain America reminded her of me, since I'm about 100 years out of the times.

Unfortunately I'm not that familiar with the Talmadges (low survival rate, not screened much anymore), but Bow's problems seem to have been more with her mental issues than her voice. Girl was kind of bonkers. The crazy looked good on screen though.
