Put that on I-95 between Fredericksburg and I-495 and it'll be paid for in no time

Pfft. Looks like a ricer trying to impersonate a police officer, to me.
I wouldn't feel safe if I pulled over for that thing.
Oh, ORS, I did see a an unmarked mini-van pull someone over in that general area, a couple months ago. Steely blue/gray Chrysler mini-van.
Wouldn't feel safe pulling over for that, either. Looked like a great abduction tool.

Wait... doesn't matter that they have something that doesn't look like a police vehicle...
I WANNA KNOW WHY THEY DID NOT BUY A DOMESTIC VEHICLE!?
I drive a Jap Car... I choose too. But when you're buying Dodges/Fords en masse.... BUY THE SPORTS CAR VERSION FOR U/C!
AND!
More precisely, I think U/C cars are a danger to the public! As SHMIV put it "...I wouldn't feel safe.."

The GTR is SICK. Portly, kind of ugly, but wow does it defy physics. It's on the bucket list for sure.

I find it a litte hard to believe that they would pay that kind of money for a single car. Like Jakeiscrazy said, where did you get that number??
I could however, believe they could end up with a vehicle like that from catching it rolling up I 81 or I 95 with a trunk full of cocaine or other drugs and seizing the vehicle. I know that is how one of the local departments has a D.A.R.E. jeep, when the officer goes and gives his presentations he is driving something that you can loose for dealing drugs.

Didn't Chesterfield confiscate a Lamborghini once, and use it for DARE?
Now that's a lucky LEO right there!

In Fairfax I have seen an unmarked BMW 3 Series sedan. Being Fairfax I could see them buying a few of those for unmarked patrol, especially since the 3 Series is probably the most common car around here. Wonder if they actually bought it or if it was seized. It was black and had another car pulled over.
I also encountered an unmarked new Camaro SS. I was in my 5.0 and we were next to each other at a light... good thing I didn't get after it.

In NYC they have nissan maximas, taxi cabs, minivans.. all sorts of undercover vehicles that are non-american. Theve been doing that since around 2007ish. Its extremely effective because they are not the common U/C cars that every1 already knows to look out for.

In 2001 or so Suffolk county PD in NY had to scrap its undercover vehicles for routine stops after someone/possibly a ring of criminals used plain cars with sirens and police uniforms to stop, rob, and murder a bunch of people and people simply refused to stop for them anymore while frantically calling 911 to have marked cars sent over, resulting in more chaos on the already crowded and disheveled roads.

I've seen plenty of red and blue on VA cars.

The VSP is running both red and blue lights on marked as well as unmarked vehicles.
Mostly on new vehicles instead of the older Crown Vics.

I also note that the car in the video has a VA inspection sticker on the windshield, as well as a temporary tag from VA just like what I've been seeing on new vehicles around here.

A white unmarked Roanoke county cruiser has Jersey plates. Very strange.
