Got an e-mail about this. Don't know how/from whom/why. Kind of a cute little .22 rifle, but the black garphics look garish to me.

I'd like to add a .22 rifle to my small collection, but it's kinda hard to justify a $400-500 price for it.

This one does look purdy though.

Yup. But if I were only going to get A (as in one) .22 rifle for my collection and was willing to spend $400-$500 on it, I think I'd go ahead and spend $650 or so and get a Browning SA-22. Now, that's purty - and a classic.

Or, if I was going to drop down a notch, I'd get a ruger 10-22.

To be perfectly honest, I thought the same thing. But you're the one that said it, and you Northern and Tidewater Virginians sometimes get some odd notions in your heads. Reckon it must come from rubbin' elbows with all them damnyankees they bus into DC, MD & NOVA to make sure the federal guv'mint stays adequately screwed up.
