Sotomayer Vote

THe GOA has created a pre written letter to send to the Senators regarding the confirmation of Sotomayer,, For what it's worth she will probably be confirmed barring an act of God or something, But sending the letter will put them on notice that you are watching what goes on and keeping track of their votes. I'm still not convinced about the Interstate Carry Vote after reading what went on there.

Here is the pre-written courtesy of GOA. http://capwiz.com/gunowners/issues/aler ... ake+Action
Dear Senator:

The confirmation of Judge Sonia Sotomayor would be a horrible choice for Americans -- not to mention the gun owners of this country. Throughout her career, Judge Sonia Sotomayor has shown that she opposes the right to keep and bear arms, denies there is a constitutional right to self-defense, and frequently ignores constitutional and statutory precedents.

However, I understand that a front group called the American Hunters and Shooters Association is supporting Sotomayor, giving cover to wavering Senators.

Please understand that AHSA is NOT a pro-gun organization. This organization shares many of the same goals as the Brady Campaign, and it is nothing more than a Trojan horse in the gun rights community.

After all, this is a group that according to records from 2005 had fewer than 150 dues paying individual members. Its founding president, Ray Schoenke, donated money to the radical Handgun Control, Inc. -- a group that argued in favor of the DC gun ban (which was struck down by the Supreme Court last year). And another of its founding members, John Rosenthal, was also the founder of Stop Handgun Violence.

I am a proud supporter of Gun Owners of America, and they do speak for me and the gun rights community when they say that Judge Sonia Sotomayor is bad for the Constitution... bad for the Second Amendment... and bad for America.

Sincerely,

No problem DK,, Health Care is one to hit them as hard as possible and show no mercy,,I intend to tell them flat out, No public option, Absolutely NO coverage for Illegal immigrants , No prefered treatment for anyone, No coverage for elective treatment, and the real biggie, NO MONEY for ACORN !! And if anyone can add to that list please do;; Don't hold it in. If we let this one get past us I would pretty much say we as a country will never be the same,SO when it comes up in the future I encourage everyone to scream Loud and Long . The 2010 election is coming and they need to realize their days are numbered . Payback is a bitch but it;s so much fun!!

today is just a bad day. i find out she gets confirmed into the SCOTUS, then hear about how you can turn people in at whitehouse.gov for criticizing the new healthcare plan, THEN hear about some bill that the federal gov't can have access to your personal computer and other media devices.

I would like to really know what is going on under this crooked administration.

Its not all bad. As for turning people in to the WH, why dont you turn yourself in? I did. I bet they are sorry they put that Blog up to begin with. I am sure by now they have received so much crap its straining the server. If you want to be creative send them the entire text of the health care bill and tell them you found it on the web and it appears to be "fishy." Then send it to them again and tell them you got a bounced mail message and wanted to make sure they did in fact get it.
