I can only wonder how much our economy would be stimulated if the "cash for clunkers" campaign were ditched and the "kalashnikovs for cars" campaign got kicked off everywhere...

I could be real good friends with that guy. I need a new truck AND an AK. We need to see more liberal reporters interviewing guys like this on TV.

I saw this ad not long ago, he really does hold his own. I really liked it when he ask her "do you have a problem with God" I'll give him a big Ooh Rah on that one. Now if he will offer a M1A1 I'll drive up there right now and buy a truck and I'm not even working now!!!!!

I saw the article on fox news and was glad to see the full interview. He did a great job.

Thinking about it more I have to applaud him on two fronts. First, for providing an opportunity to people to more actively exercise their 2A rights, that otherwise might not. And secondly for being a very smart business man. Not for simply offering a firearm with a purchase of a new truck (he did that previously, offering a voucher for a handgun), but an AK47. Why did he choose this particular firearm? Lets face it, the AK is the devil's spawn in the eyes of the media. It's been associated with terrorists, every communist regime, and practically every really bad shooting (Nations Bank hold up in CA, etc). So naturally the media jumped on the opportunity to try and twist this into a bad thing. Now if he had giving vouchers for a Remington 700, or some "traditional looking" semi-auto hunting rifle, I bet he wouldnt have gotten near the media exposure. Yep, a smart man.

Maybe good people like this, and events such as this, will eventually convince the sheeple that the AK (and it's variants) are not evil. One can only hope.

IMO itts not that the liberal media particularly think the AK is evil. Their strategy is to pick away at this piece by piece. If they can make the public think one particular firearm is evil then they can make the logical connection that more or all firearms are evil. In discrete math we call this induction.

So, a "semi assault weapon" is "incompletely" or "partially" or "somewhat" an "assault weapon" and therefore not an "assault weapon" at all. That means there would be no reason for the anti's to want to ban them, right?

When has the main-stream media ever said anything remotely correct about firearms? They present such great facts, when they butcher the terminology, and show superior intelligence about the subject from their uneducated comments.

He got real serious when she asked him about god. Guy didn't miss a beat though.
