VSSA - Virginia Shooting Sports Association
As the state association affiliate of the NRA, VSSA is at the General Assembly every day of the session protecting the rights of gun owners. We've worked to fight the attacks from localities to restrict the rights of gun owners to exercise their rights through restrictions on the discharge of firearms on private property. In addition, VSSA is promoting and supporting the shooting sports, especially to the next generation through the support of junior shooting programs so that our freedom will survive when those of us are are activists now are gone. In short, VSSA's is an all encompassing mission - to protect the second amendment from attacks by the anti-rights crowd, and to expand our ranks by introducing more people to the shooting sports.
