They all look good, but a 1911 with an M4 just seems like a strange mix; not quite as natural as a Garand or M16A2.

They really go hand in hand or did until the military went to the Beretta. IMO they should have went for a high-cap .45. The spec ops guys did. NATO standards I guess. Ugh.

NATO forces have 9mm F/As; U.S. had to follow for practicality.

Yes but wish NATO had followed us instead of the other way around.
