Now my birthday is not till August. But I have a particularly awesome husband and was able to get my gun early.

I Just got off of work and was able to take some pictures. I have never taken gun porn pictures so let me know what you think. Also incorporated some Chocolate, as I am a pastry chef. What else does a girl need. Guns and Chocolate weeeee!!!!

Its one of the cupcakes I made tonight. Its chocolate cupcake, with chocolate mousse, and chocolate shavings stuck into the mousse as decoration and for eating of course. =) Oh I threw lead down range today already.

Welcome to the "dark side". I know many people like to give us Glock shooters crap but they're damn fine weapons. Enjoy!!!

I noticed that. I don't understand why people hate the glocks so much(note: I understand people have their own opinions). For my purposes this is a fantastic gun. I also think it is pretty. I wanted something durable, easy to clean, and with a common caliber. I wanted something solidly built and of good to great quality. I also wanted something that fit well in my hands and I had fun shooting. So for me it is fantastic. It hit all the points I wanted.

I love love love love it. All I want to do is go to the range and practice.

To each his own. Although I own 3 of them, I'm not really a Glock fan. I guess I was just too old and set in my ways when the Austrians decided to start making plastic guns. But they are undeniably a good, sound, dependable gun. And even though I don't particularly like the way they feel in my hand, I am able to be as accurate with a Glock as I am with anything. If that Glock suits you, then I'd be the last person in the world to derogate your choice of it as a personal weapon. I'm tickled for you that you found a gun you like.

But I believe you are the first I've ever heard and may be the only person in the world to say the a Glock is PRETTY. Must be your maternal instincts kicking in just like a momma with a homely young'un.

That may be the case. I can admit that might be it, also it might be that its my first, so I will always love it. You know a girls first is always going to be special to her.
