21July2009 Walmart (FairLakes) has 9mm Ammo (Blazer 115grn at 50rds for $9/box) still a 6 box limit. Did not see much of any other caliber handgun ammo, but other ammo rounds seemed well-stocked. Call beforehand to check, was told that a "certain" amount is put out on the shelves as restocking, but no intel on how often or how decided to re-stock inventory.

Just WWB, or Remington as well? May need to head out there tomorrow morning to see if they have 38 and 45.

Walmart still had PLENTY of 9mm ammo (same as above) at 1900hrs 22July2009. They also have 100/rd boxes of .40 caliber (at $30 a box) - guy in front of me purchased three boxes, total was about $95.

OC'd at the FairLakes store with NO issues.

I went to walmart in short pump and you can't buy anmo past 10pm.. I was 32mins late..

Wow. I thought they only passed laws like that for liquor. Reminds me of when I visited Indiana a few months ago. We searched a grocery store which was well stocked with beer for those in the cooler. I finally asked the clerk and he said it was illegal for them to sell cold beer!!! I guess they try to deter those that want to cash, carry, and drink on the way home. I just wanted cold beer so I could go fishing...

Thursday Fair Lakes had stacks of Blazer 9mm, and 4 boxes of .40 WWB. No .45, .38, .357, or anything else except shotgun shells.

I'm finding that the local Wally world I go to seems to be having my .40 in far more often than they don't. Its been really nice to just walk in and have it there.

Now if I could just start finding .45 for plinking I'd be happy!

I know what you mean. I pick up a box of .45 FMJ here and there but most of whats out there is the more expensive stuff. Cabelas has bulk .45 JHP - 600 rounds for about $360. More than I want to pay right now.
