How many of you OC in NOVA? I plan on doing so as soon as i some great self defense ammo for my glock 32 that has a .40s&w barrel. Also could you specifiy your age? Im asking that becasue im not 21 yet and once i turn 21 i will apply to get a CHP.

26 yrs young & I have been OC'ing since I moved out here back in 2009. I Recently took the online course for my CHP Just have to go down to the Court House to finalize it.

So far I have not been asked to leave any place I have entered with any of my side arms (not that I go out much but resturants & retail stores thus far don't seem to mind.) Also the banks that I go to and the DMV don't seem to have an issue with it either

really wow. I need to get to the nra range and practice up before i OC.

Any range will do really. I think its more about taking your time controlling your breathing and focusing on your trigger pull than anything else. This can be done at any range. Where in nova are you?

near springfield, i go to the NRA range! i know of another range near costco.

Sounds good I have not been to the NRA range yet but I will make it there soon. If you are ever in the Manasss & want to hit up a range let me know. I am narrowing down my choices so within the next month It will be a go for lots of & I am going to go at least once a week with whichever range I choose

haha sorry you're in Springfield I get a fair amount of attention in cville to the point where my school "inquired" erm interrogated me about it(I'm a senior in high school) how much attention do you get in Springfield

I think i read in another forum about this! its not right what they did to you. BTW im not white so i thought i would be looked at more than say if i was white, anyway no looks.
