I hear more and more Americans, some here on VGOF, saying that "they dont listen" or "who cares, my voice dont count."

WRONG!!!

Our voices do count. Recall a few months ago when Rush Limbaugh urged his listeners to call their congressmen and express their displeasure? The result: hordes of his listeners rushed to their phones and a short time later their congressmen were rushing to cast their NO votes. Why? Because enough voters let them know that they would not be supported come the next election unless they (the voters) were represented by the actions of their congressman.

Many of us think that these people dont read our mail or listen to our calls. WRONG. They keep a tally concerning how many support or do not support issues. Why? So they can gauge voter sentiment and have a good idea of what they have to do to get re-elected.

Bottom line: if enough of us get together and say the same thing about the same issue enough times they will listen. Yes they do analysis, polls, and horse trading, but in the end they make sure they've satisfied enough voters (US) to keep their jobs. This is why we cant give up. Make yourself heard. They will listen.

I agree fully ,, the more we bomb them with our messages the more they have to note them as Hot Items,, You know the opposition isn;t sitting back counting their pennies, They are sending them too.IT would be great if we could address each one of them in the flesh. Then they could see the issues we present have a face and that wewon't be swayed from voicing our objections to their grab ass games in every way possible,,, 2010 is coming and so are we!

Great point, Spence. No doubt the libtards are burning up the lines too. We have to match them one for one and then some.
