My C 527 Varmint in .223

Here's my CZ 527 Varmint in .223.

Shot it off a bipod for a while with some 52 grain reloads of Speer and Sierra bullets being pushed by 25.5 grains of Hodgons H4895. Got some sub 1MOA groups out if it usually in the .7-.8" range.

Then I got this and was eager to see if it tightened the groups up a bit.

Took it out to Lafayette, it was pretty windy and consistency was a bit of an issue but I could see that the rest was helping. Ended up with this being the best group after I settled in. Didn't get to shoot very long because the range officer had to leave at 5 and nobody was there to relieve him.

I couldn't be happier with this gun and I am looking forward to improving my shooting since I think it and I still has some room for improvement. This is my first adventure into precision shooting and I would really like to take it somewhere where I can stretch its legs out a little to 300-500 yards or so with some heavier bullets.
