My answer: I didn't find it - it found me!

From another forum. I was on XDTalk, but the wide variety of laws, conditions, and opinions made it "cluttered". Some on the forum suggested coming here.

I saw you mentioned in a post on VAGT

Went looking for another forum when I moved from PRMD to VA. Found using a search engine, but stayed because of the quality of the posts and the site.

Hey Rick, I found your site when I was looking for information about a rifle and one of the sites on the search engine with a response was yours. I looked around and liked what I saw and joined. Since then I have met a lot of great folks here.

A Google search while I was a member over at The Armory's short-lived forum. I found VGOF about three weeks after Rick created the site.

The rest, as they say, is history.

I think my discovery was a google search also. Something like "Gun ownership VA"

I don't remember.

Found it searching Google for Virginia CC laws and how to get the permit...

i think i saw a link to vgof on sigforum.

Found a TX CHL forum, went looking for a VA (as I live in VA, not TX). Typed gun forum VA into the search bar. The Rest is history.

The first person to welcome me was Sgt Bill. Have learned a ton here.

When I was still researching where to live after getting the green light to leave NY we narrowed it down to Virginny and Delaware; was comparing their gun laws and Google led me here.

I don't even remember.

bing search engine i was looking for open carry laws.

I was doing a Google search for sites that let people advertise privately-owned guns for sale in the Commonwealth and this site was one of the top results that came up. Don't recall the exact search string I used though.

I found it announced on another site...OCDO maybe? I'm not sure what number I was, but I think I registered here on day 2.

A friend at work told me about it. He just opened another website... Workaholic he is.

I was searching for local gun shows one morning and next thing you know...........

A buddy of mine recommended it while we were waiting in line for wobble trap at Bull Run.
