Duracoating near Fredericksburg? places to shoot?

Hey guys, I'm a Navy guy in dahlgren, I don't know anywhere to go for help so you boys are my number one resource. Does anyone know where I can get a couple pistols duracoated? Also, I heard there is a gun club in king George, but you have to know someone to join. Do you guys know of anywhere I can go?

There are several members of the gun club here, myself included, but I'm a probie. Are you a student at Dahlgren or on shore duty? I work on the base as well.
The Range in Fredericksburg is the closest place I know of near Dahlgren to shoot. Meet some good friends in King George that don't live in a subdivision is another great avenue
Don't know anyplace near by that dura coats. Maybe AllInGeneral knows....

I'm just here for school until I go back to the fleet in June. I heard there is a range in king George but you have to know someone. If Fredericksburg is my best bet I guess I'll have to check that out. Thanks.

ktownking - I have a soft spot for Navy schoolers in Dahlgren. What hours are you going to school? Maybe we could meet up for some shooting at the club one afternoon. What do you want to shoot? Pistol? Rifle? Shotgun? email me -

Also, I too am an FC1(SW). I don't really drink, that's about all there is to do once you're done at the gym on base. I need some positive stuff for my off time. You guys are awesome.

I dont know exactly what you are wanting done but Curt at SSG tactical in Fredericksburg is going to be turning my gun pink and redoing the grips. I just took a class with him and he is a great guy. Here is the website it has all their contact info.
