Seeking Sr. Technology **LEADER** Springfield

Gang;
I have a client that is seeking a senior (10ish years) technology leader. This will be a newly created VP level position, no clearance required. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in enterprise level software development but also must be able to lead traditional MIS functions.
This position oversees six developers and two IT technicians (probably expanding to three very soon). VERY decent salary.
Now, the full disclosure:
This person is walking in to a messy situation. The two IT guys are fine, but the development effort has the name "Titanic" on it. Furthermore, there has been no technology road map or strategy ever. I also doubt there has been a serious attempt at a Technology Budget.
However, this is a great opportunity for someone who is ready to take that next step in their career, especially if they like a real challenge. "Kicking butts & taking names" will be a large part of this job.
