Virginia Gun Owners Forum - VGOF

Hi everyone, I live in Chesapeake. I have been shooting since I was 6ish. But just bought my first handgun, this past weekend. I am in the process of getting my CHP. Have been out of the loop with guns for about 12-13 years. So trying to slowly work my way back in. The first gun I bought is the gun I grew up shooting, and well it took me a long time to find it. It's a .357 S&W model 65-3. Best part is I got it for a darn good price too. I just have to change out my grips and life will be good, if I can get the darn screw off the grip (it's rusted to the nut). I'm hoping to make it out the gun range this weekend at norfolk county. Can't wait to shoot it.

Thanks Jay. I'm hoping that I will be able to get back into the loop and fill in a lot of the gaps that I have from my many years away. As things have changed and some of the stuff I have plum forgot.
