Gorgeous day today to knock out some silhouettes! Got some pixs of our fun, thought I would share two. One is the wife using her Walther 9mm PPS, and the other is her with my Cougar 8045.

Hoping to get another session n tomorrow morning before the storm hits; we'll see!

Yeah, the sons-in-law were here today. One had some .40S&W hollowpoints he wanted to run through so we filled some milk jugs with water and down the hill we went. Shot the jugs, shot a steel torso till a weld gave way on a swinging center of mass, and finished up on a soda can and a spray paint can cap. Everyone proclaimed it the best day shooting since the last day of shooting.

I put about 120 rounds of .223 and M855 through the AR yesterday afternoon, and another 100 .22LR through my Ruger 22/45 today. I've got a co-worker coming over tomorrow morning to walk him through assembling his AR, and then shooting a bit before it starts to come down if we have time! :machinegun:

We got a P22 yesterday that I want to test out this morning. Hoping that the high pressure holds off the low just long enough to plunk 100 through!

Nope. I did enjoy the sun shining into the garage while I loaded up some 9mm and .45 acp though. Today I'm hoping to get some .223 loaded up for the next range trip.

The guy who built his new AR at my place this morning is a member there. We function checked and dumped a few mags on my range here at the house, but plan on hitting up the 200 yard range at NVGC when he can fit it in his schedule. I went to the NVGC open house last summer. Other than being under water from the hurricane and subsequent tropical storm, it was a nice place.

We just started our membership there and couldn't wait to start using it!
I got rounds expended today before the storm! I'm a happy boy!

4" in Caroline Co. Not a blizzard, but the biggest snowfall of the season for us...

you didn't watch Richmond news! They had all sorts of fun. Up north here, not bad at all! I'm hoping everything melts away soon enough to expend som .22!!

Pfft. Come on, Kreutz... You've been here long enough to know the fear and panic produced by the sight of a snow flake 'round here. An inch of snow shuts down entire cities, lol.

No panic on this end... I just knew it was going to be a wet one, meaning no fun shooting. Wasn't that bad though; wet stuff didn't get us until around 5pm.

It's not the snow that shuts down the city.

We got about 8". Got somewhat slick after dark. Nothing I couldn't handle in the Bowtie Monstrosity. Didn't even put it in 4WD until I got to my driveway. It was purty in the sunshine this morning. Main roads clear already. We don't shut down the world and cancel tomorrow whenever the roads turn white out here in the mountains like ya'll do in Charlottesville & Richmond. It happens enough out here that we just learn to live with it like kreutz and them damnyankees. Big difference is them damnyankees so richly deserve to be cold and aggravated.

We got about 6", shoveled the walk and driveway last night, piece of cake.

My landscaper actually called last night and asked if I wanted my driveway plowed.

:hysterical:

Took me 15 minutes and not too much effort.
