IMO even the most dedicated anti-gun father will find himself changing his mind on the gun issue when the boys start noticing his daughter(s).

Still don't believe a thing that comes out of his mouth,,.especially with it coming closer to elections... I bet that story sounds much different to an anti gun audience...

That reminds me when I picked up one of my high school girlfriends for the first time. Her dad opened the door with a double barreled 12 gauge. There were several other guns on the table behind him. Apparently he decided that his gun cleaning should coincide with me picking her up. He was surprised that, instead of being nervous, I wanted to know all about his guns. The girlfriend got mad at having to wait as he showed me all his guns. He was a pretty cool dude though and we got along well.

When the young man came to our house to take out my first daughter on her first date he found me in the living room cleaning my 1911.
That pretty much set the tone of our relationship. I had no problems with that boy, EVER!.
