Firearms and/or 2A related computer stuff
Howdy, Rick
Would anyone else be interested in discussing gun-related computer software and/or hardware?
Regards,
George

Have an example of such software/hardware?
I know my guns don't fit into the CD rom.

Howdy, Wes,
No, I don't have examples. I saw a post about downloadable targets, and there used to be stuff related to chronographs. Maybe there are reloading calculators or software to aid w/grassroots advocacy. I'm just a hardware hacker who used to do 2A grassroots.
I can't really contribute to such a discussion yet, but I was hoping to learn. There is bound to be a ton of stuff by now, and there are members of this forum who are much better informed than myself.
Regards,
George

Reloading software and ballistics tables would be great. With the way things are going you cant always find the exact components listed in a book which I only have one of. Would be nice to have access to and discuss alternatives using a reliable piece of software or database.
Almost forgot - a separate forum would also be nice so we know where to post comments and info.....

What would we call this forum?
Is there enough of a requirement to add it?
So far, I have gathered:
Title: Firearms Software ??
Subtitle: Firearms-related Electronica including printable targets, ballistics tables, links to reloading software, etc.

If you hit the spindle in a hard drive in JUST the right place with a .303 British Enfield 300 grain soft point, you can drive the entire platter set out the back of the case! BUT, don't shoot it at an automatic transmission converter as those shoot back! (ricochet)OakRidgeStars wrote:Guns and computers don't mix well.... but it looks like fun
