Are there any new or proposed gun law changes for 2012?

That bill is not Constitutional Carry. You still must ask "Mother May I" in order to carry concealed. The CHP permitting process will remain. If you happen to be caught carrying concealed without your permit, you have to go to court and produce the permit and explain to the judge why you didn't have it on you at the time of the offense.mrjam2jab wrote:Constitutional Carry
Bill would remove the need for a permit for most people to carry concealed. It does allow for issue of permits for use in other states. It also adds some penalties for carrying concealed during certain crimes.
