Question about Concealed carrying in Va

I thinking about getting my concealed carry permit and wanted to know if you are able to carry cocked and locked with one in the chamber. I know this might be a stupid question because like my grandfather always told me "Whats the point of having a gun if it isn't loaded." just want to make sure I'm following the law.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Yes. Carry your defensive sidearm as it was designed to be carried.

Be safe out there.

Even without a CHP, you can (and should!) Open Carry a sidearm "Cocked, Locked and Ready to Rock"

Loaded/chambered is the only way a gun should be carried...

As far as applying for your CHP, please check out our courses on our website....
