Well folks, we all hoped this wouldn't happen. But it looks like the Dems are well on their way to a veto and filibuster proof majority in the Senate. God help us.

WTOP reported today that Ted Kennedy and some other Dem are almost always out sick and there are many Dems that don't always vote the party line.

Ted? Out sick??
On a more serious note - a Veto-proof majority right now isn't good... Cap and Trade shouldn't have even been close in the House, much less passed - and I think the dems can convince those who are often "sick" and absent to show up for important votes like Supreme Court nominees - unbalanced power without checks is not good. Not that we have any balance anymore with the Constitution thrown out with the party punch kool aid after BO took office...

What we must do now is hammer our own senators and congressmen without letting up. I'm not sure how to do it without them ignoring us. If only a few of us merely send e-mail after e-mail then they will most likely do just that. We have to organize a campaign where their e-mail, fax, and phones get swamped on every liberal issue bent towards the destruction of America. I like the 4th March but that's just one day. We have to get a lot of people behind this sort of idea and keep the pressure constant.
