I sent out a newsletter today from AIG Tactical which read as follows:
AIG Tactical Newsletter wrote: I want to personally wish everyone a Happy Independence Day. Our independence is very important to me and as our liberties continue to be eroded by government ownership of our private companies and increased government control over our everyday lives, the fight for our independence seems to begin to take on a whole new meaning in today's terms.

In celebration of American Independence, I am offering free shipping on all orders over $40.00 at AIG Tactical Supply - http://all-in-general.com ! Do you need a new concealed carry holster or a couple of spare magazines? Now's the time!

This offer is valid for a limited time only, so visit http://all-in-general.com to take advantage now!

Regards,
Rick Sandlin
Owner, AIG Tactical Supply

I got a reply from someone who created a profile at All in General Outdoors in June 2005. Her response reads:
YOU FEAR MONGER!! I don't know how you got my e-mail address but you better NEVER send me any more of this kind of disgusting advertisment. It's all a pack of lies and you know it.
I was like - WHOA!!! lol Kinda caught me off-guard.

So, I replied back to her and let her know that I am not a liar and that if she wants lies, look to the news media.

What's this mean?

"To evade further emails from AIG Tactical, please visit:
http://all-in-general.com/opt_out.php"

It means "If you wish to unsubscribe from receiving further communication from AIG Tactical, please visit http://all-in-general.com/opt_out.php"

The word "evade" doesn't get spam filtered as harshly as "unsubscribe" or "cancel" - and I would like for the newsletters to make it to people's inbox instead of their spam can.

I asked "What's this mean" in an attempt to point out that instead of replying "YOU FEAR MONGER!! I don't know how you got my e-mail address but you better NEVER send me any more of this kind of disgusting advertisment. It's all a pack of lies and you know it" the individual could have opted out of further emails.

I did think it odd though that you used the word evade.

I didn't get my copy of the newsletter. I guess I need to check the spam settings for any "fear monger" filters :hysterical:

Don't you realize that liberal wackos can't handle the truth? When confronted by it they resort to verbal attacks showing just how enlightened they really are.
