The Next VGOF AR-15 Prize Gun

there's been talk about the next forum milestone, and i don't have a clue what that would be. however, for the prize i was thinking we could build an AR-15 with member donated parts and have jakeiscrazy build it with a forum volunteer (sgt bill maybe?) to learn how it's done. i'm fairly impressed at the knowledge jake's acquired since joining the forum, so a hands-on project like this would be a great learning experience. this goes for anyone else wanting to learn as well.
the only requirement is that no pre-assembled parts be used. the AR has to be entirely built by jake and whomever else partakes in the project.
this type of project generates visibility for VGOF and creates a way to directly educate its members on something invaluable while teaching gun safety.
the project would also entail creating a special forum thread to post 'how-to" pictures as the build progresses, so there's a step by step build guide for the forum.
i'm officially putting the offer out that i'd donate some parts, and i have some unusual ones i'd consider to make it special, or a stag upper or lower receiver to get the project rolling.
what do you guys think?
