That's right fellow gun owners and defenders of our Constitution. Led by none other than Jesse Jackson Jr. I simply can't believe these people who call themselves our elected leaders. No wonder they can't get any meaningful work done. They hold a moment of silence for MJ, who I won't bother to qualify as anything (you fill in the blanks), and they turn their backs on our fine men and women overseas who are paying the ultimate price.

LOL! I am losing "friend" links for cracking on MJ and letting them know that while I respected him back when he was a normal, great singer, I hope he rots in hell as a whacked-out freak of a pedophile! How can you lift the "man" he became up as a hero?!?!?

I haven't lost any "friends" over it, but I'm instantly suspicious of anything supported by Jesse Jackson, his son, and especially Al Sharpton. Kinda makes you wonder if people walk on you because of this whether or not they were really "friends."

Pretty sickening if you ask me. I'm glad to see that more than half of the comments on the site are speaking out against the time spent honoring that child abusing drug addict.

This is the "New America" that our first marxist communist president spoke about. Where it is more important to honor a child molester than to honor our Constitution.

It is realy sickening... Some in this country, even officals hold higher regard for the likes of a child molesting, junkie than they do for that of our military personel or us for that matter. This is BS. To bad he didn't die in prison for what he did to those kids.

Hopefully he's in a very warm place right now. He's probably pretty comfortable seeing how he's already been ablaze at least once.

I would go on a rant about this, but it would only serve to get me all worked up. The days of these jerks in congress are hopefully numbered. 2010 is right around the corner. We need to organize a grass roots movement well before the next election. We can't let those bastards stay in there.

This is very true. The thing that scares is me is that alot of America today has no desire to run their own lives. They are content with being thrown scraps and told exactly what they can and can't do.

The really bad part is when people like us step in to stand in the gap everybody thinks we're extremists. I spend alot of time researching issues that center on the NWO and erosion of our Constitution and rights. There is truly a lot of scary stuff going on right now. IMHO this country is not moving towards socialism or communism. Its moving towards a new ism that doesn't really have a name. If this democratic congress and senate gets their way and no one does anything to stop them then we are basically toast. I for one am waiting for the straw that breaks the camels back. The first thing I do every morning (after getting coffee and a cigarette) is check US news, world news, and political news looking for the "straw." I'm not an alarmist nor am I a survivalist but I think its coming soon.

Ditto. I don't think you're the only one who feels like that. I'm not sure what "the straw" is either, and maybe it's something different for everyone - but if it hits enough people at the same time - it's not going to be pretty. It's sad and disconcerting when they have a moment of silence for Michael Jackson but they don't have a position on Iran nor a plan for N. Korea...

Ok, like him or hate him, the guy died and I'm sympathetic to his family. None of the media circus is necessary IMO. Just a simple "Really, Michael Jackson died? Wow, that sucks. I really dug that 'Thriller' video he did with Vincent Price." and move on.

If Jesse Jr called for a moment of silence, I want my Rep to hold a moment of silence for this man.

I'm with you !!! Sounds like time to write another letter. I'll put this on my list unless you're so inclined. If you draft one, please post it so we can all use it. We need to honor our fallen heroes, especially at this time of the year. It it weren't for great Americans like Col Reusser we might all be speaking Russian or Chinese.
