Left or Right handed AR

Firstly, left handed here.

I've been reading up on Left handed AR-15's from many forums. Most have acclaimed that a right handed rifle does not release it's cartridges in the face of a left handed shooter and that most left handers use right handed ARs.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

I am a lefty and shoot a standard AR (Daniel Defense DD V3). I have never had brass in the face. The only negative is an ambi charging handle and safety prices are not that cheap. I chose to go ambi and not just left since I learned to shoot right, but am much better left, since I am left eye dominant, and can still shoot righty with all the levers there.

The only brass I ever ate was other people's at training class.

Hmm alright thanks. I'll probably head to the RIR gun show on November 12th and 13th to talk to some others as well, but it seems it would be cheaper and not a problem to shoot a right handed AR.

Cheers
