Ding-Dong, the tyrant is dead!
Can't wait to see what kind of nut-job takes his place

The interesting part he he was "captured" and then killed. Haha I guess it was just a little rough handling. I wonder if they will include a 2nd amendment of their own when they form their new government.

My wife just called and said that the US has admitted they attacked Ghadafi's convoy with a Predator drone and France has acknowledged they did so using a fighter jet.
Whose balls is Barack using? Hillary's?

The POTUS will be spiking the football for at least two weeks after this one.
He's a natural born killer

So the tyrant is dead and now the people in charge want to implement even more tyranny (particularly for women). Someone tell me why we touched this rotting corpse of a country.

Not a chance. It'll be a brutally repressive state with most of its laws lifted from the Shari'a, though the folks at the top will be immune as they always are.
States made from overthrown dictatorships seldom get less repressive. Just one gang replacing another, if they're lucky they won't have open slaughter and purges, but quieter, less show-y brutality. It was foolish of us to get involved, just like pretty much every foreign adventure we've ever embarked upon.

IMO the most fascinating part is he was captured alive then popped.
Makes me think a trial would have been embarrassing for alot of powerful people that had dealings with him. Why have another Saddam to deal with when its easier to sweep it under the rug?

I saw an article yesterday quoting one of the rebel leaders as saying that their next priority is to disarm all the people who fought. I'm still perplexed by the fact that our media almost universally assumes that all tyrants overthrown by revolutions will be replaced by democracies. Damn glad I live in Virginia!
