Don't that purty?.......... a blinged-up baby 1911.

Unlike the Puma 22LR 1911 I posted a while back, this Browning commemorative is undersized. But it's perfectly scaled down and an actual baby 1911. Comes as a set with a KA-BAR knife. And don't ask what it cost. I should have my head examined, OK?

It looks like a 4" barrel officer's model to me, and I has one

Yeah, but the barrel & slide are scaled down to the .22 diameter. It's not a .45 barrel with a .22 bore, like the .22LR Puma 1911 I've got. But it's an old-time 1911, allright. I racked it back and it bit me.

Nice one! There's just something about the M1911. No matter who makes it, what finish it has, how much it costs... how "scaled down" it is... I just love them all.

Don't I know it! That's why I've got more of them suckers than I've got fingers and toes. I can't quit.

I've starting toying with the idea of buying a kit and building my own.... just picked up Kuhnhausen's Volume I. Need some decent tools first, then some cash for a kit. Will start small and cheap first if I do go through with it.
