Well I knew it would happen eventually. The Wall street occupiers have come to richmond VA. Where did they decide to set up? Kanawha plaza--right across the street from my husband's work. Greeaaaattt....... Of course he is not permitted to have a fire-arm at work. So we will be picking him up some industrial strength pepper spray this week. Now he gets to play "lets tell the real homeless people apart from the fake homeless." I pick him up 1-2X a week so that means I get to worry with having my three kids and me in a car next to a rowdy lot.

A guy I see sometimes at the gym is a participant of the movement. It seems he never mentions anything about it when I'm there(I would love a chance to argue about it) but last time my dad was there he was telling people they need to join because "there is gonna be revolution and you better join while you can"......

Well as long as he leaves my DH alone all shall be well. If not well after this evening Chris will be prepared to at least make an escape.

They could probably benefit more from some soap and deodorant. Better include instructions too.

Yes, well I am sure that if they stay a while a good scrubbing will be in order. Of course the pepper spray is not for their benefit! Just to get my hubby home at the end of the day!

I wish I had free time like that, unfortunately, I have to work to provide for my family... and all those slacktastic bureaucrats who spend my money... and "baby-factories" who live in guv'mint housing, and have the "baby-daddy(s)" dealin' so they live off my hard earned wages... and let's not forget giving money to the enemies of the U.S. so they "won't hate us so much".

Drove past them early this AM. Looked like a bunch of college kids having a camp out with poster boards here and there. We went through at around 8 am so most of them were still rolled up in their sleeping bags.

And this differs from "take our country back" how? That would also necessitate a purge no?

they've been in D.C for awhile now and you have it all from colledge kids to vets to mothers and children. Mostly they have been staying to themselves and just "protest" here and there. It seems that they have to much to loose to create a full on revolution.

That line is going in my "arsenal" for next time I see him!
