No gun? Use a guitar

Check this out. Some guy took out an intruder with a guitar. I'm assuming it was a solid body. Hollow body guitars just don't have the stopping power needed for self defense
MANASSAS, Va. (AP) - A Virginia resident defended his home from a potential intruder by wielding a dangerous instrument: a guitar.

That took a lot of pluck. Didn't say whether they confiscated the weapon.

Video of the guitar-wielding homeowner. Looks like it was an acoustic guitar after all.

Perhaps the judge will order that the demolished guitar be replaced by the attacker...

Be careful, or they'll start outlawing those excessively dangerous "assault guitars." I mean, who really *needs" a guitar capable of cranking out more than 100 decibels of sound from an amp? And twin humbucking pickups? Why do you *need* more than a single pickup? They'll limit the volume controls to go no higher than 10, so no "going to 11."
And forget about black guitar straps or matte black hardware. And "extended" pick guards? Why would you *need* such a thing? Let alone "high capacity" amplifiers and "high powered" strings!
And don't get them started on those "auto tuners"! I mean, who *needs* an "automatic" tuner?

According to the hoplophic, pantywaist anti-gun crowd, this guy is lucky the intruder didn't wrestle his guitar away from and use it on him!
See how easy this is?

Maybe they'll string him up. That should change his tune.

There's nothing sudden about it, at least for me. I'm always feeling punny.
