(shrugs) I know that according to Native American lore, if you kill one, you die within 7 years.
There are strange things in the woods. It's why I go there. Not a lot of mystery in the Suburbs, and Urban areas... unless you count the rats the size of a possum.
One thing though, I bought a "Pocket Artillery" handgun for potential hunting of Wild Hogs, and brushy areas for deer. When I was looking at it, the guy at the gun shop asked "What you need that for?" The place was crowded, but I simply looked him in the eye, and said "Squatches". Place went silent, I winked, and everyone started laughing! They got the joke.
