Duck hunting areas

I'm new to the Fredericksburg/Spotsylvania area, and was wondering if there were any good duck hunting locations near the Rappahannock. Any good public lands near here or within an hour or so's drive would be great. I've heard that there ar some good opportunities on the James River, but haven't been there firsthand to check it out yet.
