Hello VGOF,

I didn't see a thread like this, so I figured it could be a good idea to start one, rather than start a new topic everytime we leave the house with our weapons. (I'm as guilty as anyone)

Basically the idea of this thread is to post where you carried today, and what (if any) experiances you had while doing so.
Something like this:
-What you carried (Glock, 1911, etc)
-Where you carried
-How you carried (OC/CC)
-Your experiance

Hopefully, if this takes off we can get it stickied

I figure I may as well start off:

Today, I plan to CC my Glock 27 around town.

Yesterday, I went with my parents to Richmond to buy a new van. I CC'd the Glock 27 the entire time, and we stopped for McDonalds afterwards. No issues at either of these locations, which was nice.

CC'd last night with my M&P9 when we went out to dinner and stopped by the grocery store. I don't think the wife even knew I was carrying.

Walked the dogs this morning with my PF9 in my pocket.

Last week, Reston Town Center, XDM 9mm Compact in OWB holster, every weekday.

Carried my Colt Detective Special .38 to the bank, and then to my office today.

Just another standard carry day for me.
Sig P239 IWB everywhere I went.

Alex... any way I can convince you to give Thai a try? There's plenty that isn't spicy, if that's what causes you issues.

Anyone else interested in maybe grabbing lunch in C'ville this week?

Carried today, Glock 27 in a BlackHawk IWB holster. (Concealed obviously) Walked around Wal-Mart, got gas, went home. Zero issues.

Mk4, I'd be down with getting some Thai, I just have to see what my work schedule spits out for the rest of the week.

Carried my Kimber Ultra Raptor II, in a Crossbreed SuperTuck IWB, to the bank, Home Depot, Plaza Azteca Mexican Restaurant, and the grocery store.

All concealed. All the time.

A conceal carry thread turned Thai food...

Carried my 27 today IWB holster in sweat pants, yeah I know im awesome. Went to target and got a few supplies for the house.

Well this is a few days old, but last Friday I was at Maymont park and I had my Glock 36 in my purse (I HATE purse carry, but no other option right now). I noticed a person there OC. Two thumbs up to you if you are here. Today I shall be doing laundry at home so while my glock is accessible I likely won't be carrying it.

Not much today, just carried in my car, on the way to work and on the way home.

Bank, pizza place, UPS store, the usual

Went around town, resturant called "The Brick Oven" and got some gass on the way home. CC'd my Glock 27, no issues. May bring it out tonight, haven't decided.

Took the P226 in its N82 Tactical IWB holster on a motorcycle ride to the Leesburg ( VA ) ABC store.

BTW - when you go to the ABC store, have them round your purchase up tot he next dollar for the Virginia Disaster Relief Fund.

I carry every work day, back and forth to the office. I carry my Para Ordnance OPS (3-1/2" barrel .45 ACP) in an outside pocket of my briefcase, which I lay on the passenger seat within easy reach while I'm driving.

When I get to the office, I have to leave the pistol in the truck, because of a policy against weapons in the workplace. So as I walk through the parking garage to and from the truck, I'm unarmed.

Fortunately, our building is located in a pretty specific area where you'd be extremely unlikely to find any undesirables - much less would they be wandering around our parking garage. I've been in the garage in the wee hours (e.g., midnight or later) and it's completely abandoned. Of course, I would prefer to be able to have my .45 with me while walking from the stairwell door to the truck through the garage, but I'm actually not terribly concerned about not having it.

There are plenty of areas in the Richmond vicinity, though, where I definitely would not want to be without my .45 handy.

Out and about everywhere today. No issues whatsoever.
