I had a German Mauser K98 on my wishlist from SOG, but they sold out before I got to buy one.

I had planned to get it for my son's birthday. He's fairly particular about what he wants -- manufactured in Germany (lots of Spanish/Turkish/South American/Eastern European ones out there, but not what he wants), retaining original German markings. SOG had them for under $250. Anyone know where I can get a comparable deal?

For a better description of what I hoped to buy, here is the description from the SOG page:
"Original Nazi wartime mausers. They have all the codes, waffenamps, inspector’s marks, Nazi swastikas, etc. These rifles are not refurbished and not Russian capture, Nazi marks aren’t punched out. They have not been matched with electric pencil numbers. Original finish on metal, some a little more worn than others, but none of them are beauty contest winners."
I'm sure some of you C&R enthusiasts out there have a lead on where I might acquire such a rifle -- help a fellow cruffler out!

Nevermind! I found one on my own. My son should have a great birthday this year!
