Any way to use the standard forum view from a mobile device? iPad, specifically?

can you tell me your IP address or your User-Agent?

It might be hard for me to do since the iPad uses iPhone software, so if I change it in that manner, anyone with an iPhone will get the regular instead of mobile display.

The mobile skin keys on the iPhone and Mobile text strings in the user-agent string above.

Is there someplace in your iPad browser config that you can manually set the User Agent to Mozilla or something? I did that in my Droid-X.

I can see about making the skin user-selectable, but that won't happen right away.

Lemme poke around a bit and see what info I can find on this thing. I actually thought it was a Safari thing and so, installed an alternate browser from the iPhone/iTunes store, but same result.

you can grab a copy of iCabMobile http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/icab-mob ... 11628?mt=8. It's a 3rd party browser that allows you to change your user agent to many different variations. it is well worth $1.99

tapatalk? although i dont know if that is just an iphone app. i would assume you can use it on the ipad too. but first the forum needs to be on there.

I use TapaTalk on my android tablet (Nook Color, CM7) for VGOF; works fine.
