Both happened on the same day. Also, let's not forget that Michigan happens to be the state that harbors a town that is likely being used for muslim terrorist recruitment and training (Dearborn) and it's only one county away from the car bomb.

That seems to be a bit of a stretch...

And meanwhile the Jihad Boys tend to be much louder when they are responsible for an attack - they want to spread terror and gain infamy. Little to be gained in an attack like the one in Michigan if you dont claim credit for it.

Muslim car bombs are happening almost daily in other countries. Why wouldn't they consider using them here? Their population numbers in the US are steadily growing - causing them to get bolder and bolder. This could be the first of many.

Generally, they do like to make more of a splash by suicide with a video, but I wouldn't put it past them to try something like this. The location and day just seem too coincidental.

+1 seems like a stretch.
Look at the image of where the car bomb exploded, in the middle of the road. Also seems like a weird target choice. To me this I would guess targeted maybe a gang hit or run of the mill murder.

It wasn't an irrational jump to conclusions. I hadn't even made a conclusion yet, I described it as being very coincidental and made a guess as to who may have done it. I still stand behind my guess as being a very possible one, concidering the circumstances. Let's look at them:
1) Carbombs are used by terrorists daily
2) DHS just announced several weeks ago that terrorists were seriously trying to use them in the US
3) the bomb went off on the same day muslims were celebrating their attack on the US by opening a mosque on Ground Zero
4) the bomb went off only a county away from one of the largest muslim communities in the US

There's enough coincidental information there for it to have easily been a terrorist bombing.

The incident had just happened with very few details available to anyone - and yet you immediately begin troll posts because Fox happened to provide what information they had on the two separate incidents. Fox never even claimed either story was related or involved terrorism. Typical liberal trolling.

Not sure where Kruetz would like us to get our news from--- MSNBC--the official mouthpiece of the Obama administration. CNN--a slight less obvious shill for the democrats.

It could be connected. I don't seen an obvious connection at this time. Dearborne is a bad place to be if you are not a muslim--everyone in power is in the pocket of the local Islamic centers. To simply exercise your God given rights to have a conversation not flattering to Islam you will have to have a lawyer, you will spend at least one night in jail, and you had better have a video recording everything that is going on because the police there will lie on the stand. How do I know this, had some friends arrested there while engaging in a conversation about the likelihood of Jesus' resurrection and while they ultimately prevailed in court they had to go through alot to get there. Bad place, don't go there without at minimum a four person camera crew.


Still, when Islamic terrorists do something like a bombing of some sort they usually shout it to the rooftops. Maybe this is a new breed, but I can't make the connection just yet.

Not all terrorists are crazy suicidals. The "Beltway Sniper" is a prime example. Just imagine the fear that would spread if terrorists began randomly placing pipebombs under cars all over the US.

You could be right--could be a jihad sort of bombing--just maybe too soon to tell.
