9/11 Memorial: First Responders Excluded from Ground Zero Ceremony
http://www.ibtimes.com/articles/210893/ ... omberg.htm
The chain status exploded on Facebook on Wednesday: "Due to 'lack of room,' NYC police officers, Port Authority police officers and FDNY firefighters are not 'invited' to the 10th anniversary of 9/11 at ground zero. Funny -- they weren't invited on that day in 2001, either -- they just showed up and became our heroes. Please repost if you think they belong MORE than the politicians who are invited.".............................

JWF posted an excellent tribute to the men and women that rushed towards ground zero ten years ago today, while everyone else was running away.
They didn't do it for recognition or praise, they did it because that's what they do every single day. And if the same thing happened tomorrow, they would do it again. At least the one's that made it out.

Positive proof that Micheal Bloomberg is indeed an elitist ass of the first order.... Wonder if they'll reelect that poor excuse for a human again?

I would have watched the 9-11 memorial but Bloomberg's nonsense ruined it for me. No first responders, no clergy of any type even though this is a memorial service. He made foolish excuses as to why he did not want either there. Both could have easily been included without causing any controversy, but to serve his ego on his say so they were not. In choosing to make a big deal out of both issues he made that service about him, and I don't appreciate that.

I avoided all anniversary activities because my feelings are too strong and unresolved on the subject. My entire life has been affected by it, but thankfully, only economically, professionally, and emotionally.
There was a time when I was laid low by many things since 9/11 that I considered volunteering for the Israeli military to donate my abilities and even life to fight the Prislamic P'sOS that are procreating like the vermin they are all over the world. Fortunately, things have gotten better in my life, but I still don't think it would be a waste of the life I have been given.
I don't care to revisit this subject any more than is already unavoidable. It is something I am forced to deal with and consider nearly daily. "Never forget" to me is almost offensive in its ridiculousness for me, but I realize how self-centered and short term memory possessing are the masses of asses that go about their daily lives in condition duh.
What bothers me most is how the global situation is mostly worse since 9/11 not better. All the Western nations are economically teetering, sliding out of sovereign significance, most "leaders" have not even acknowledged the global realities and all the while the demographics are making new dark ages inevitable. Finally, wrong-headed useful idiots (several here) applaud this and revel in America getting what is coming to it.
This is where I swear a lot and go shoot things then drink. I can do none of those things here or now so I'm out.
DID I WIN? That would be a joyful celebratory post, eh?
