Been told I was on the wish list for a Sig STX 1911, but to forget about it because it wasn't likely to happen. (I think they wouldn’t give them a ship date) But yesterday one came in out of the blue. So I’ve got another pretty pistol I haven't fired yet. The City closed our informal "shootin' range" at the reservoir so they could use it for a parking lot for equipment that's upgrading the spillway at the dam. So there ain't no more running up the mountain and shooting within 15 minutes of leaving the house. And a right regular pain in the posterior it is, too.
