An elementary school in Colorado has come under criticism after they lowered the American flag and elevated a Saudi Arabian flag.

The principal at Bauder Elementary School in Fort Collins said they did not mean to disrespect the American flag, according to a report in the Greeley Gazzette.

Principal Brian Carpenter told the newspaper that the American flag was immediately returned to its proper and prominent position at the school.

He explained that other flags are posted around the school to recognize the nationalities of students from other countries.

It's a shame we have to bow to them because they control the flow of oil. We need someone to invent a practical means of transportaion they does not us oil or oil products. But i believe that the Principal Brian Carpenter should be fired. What kind of nessage is he senting to our youth.

The shouldn't be rasing any other flags ..period... If someone disapproves.. Screw em!

Nice pun, but I do agree with you. Both have been abject failures, I wonder if by design? Three terms of failures in a row, both had been eagerly backed by its base who was not given the time of day once "their" man got elected. Seems suspiciously repetitive.

Remember some seriously disappointed social conservatives during the Bush years, and liberals that backed Obama seem awfully depressed.

A cynic may say that ever since Wall Street started guiding American industry, and not being guided by it, our presidents have represented the elite more and more. The elite aren't all US-born, either… Raw commodities ownership isn't supposed to put you on top of the heap - unless the system is designed to put you there.

But then again, I'm not a cynic.
