NOVA Armament in Herndon had one a few weeks ago. Kinda It felt pretty good and for the money it was a solid piece. Trigger could use some work but it was, again, good for the money.

It's one of those new, must-have items so they're hard to get for both individuals and shops. Hopefully the supply will increase as the demand levels off.

That is good news. If Gander is selling for a little less then $800 we should be able to find it at a normal shop for around $700 if not less :hysterical:

I frequently go to NOVA Armament - cannot blame them for what they want to charge you for an SR1911, but hey, that's the market for them right now. Seriously, the owner wants $749.00 that is just 50 under MSRP, so if you are driving up from Fredericksburg at the price of gas today, hope you are not driving a gas guzzler or it probably won't be worth the trip. :pistol:

I have always had good dealing's with Superior Pawn and Gun in Norfolk on VB BLVD. If they didn't have what I was looking for on the shelf they would order it for me at a competitive price. And would usually have it in about a week. Plus they will give you tradein value twords your new piece if you got anything your looking to get rid of. They may not offer what you think its worth, But it will help bring the price down if you want that new piece bad enough.

I was in the Armory in VB a month + ago looking for the SR40c. I also asked about the SR1911. They told me they were sold out of both and anything ordered is already allocated(?). The gentleman (older fellow, white hair, with glasses) said they had already sold 2 1911's for $620 a piece. They have never lied too me yet, that I know of. If they ever get any in stock I will be getting it there.
